The best recommendations are going to take your hair type and hair goals into account. I have moderately wavy hair that I like to keep at shoulder length and have had good luck at Blu Skies with Kaitlin McCarty.

I don't have any advice, but I commiserate with you. I too live in a smoke-free building (under TLC Properties management) but one of my neighbors smokes all the time. Unfortunately they smoke in the evening when the management office is already closed, so there is very little that the property manager has been able to do. I'm counting down the months on my lease when I'll be looking to buy a house. I'm so done with being a renter.

I wish other theaters in town had the same rules. Had an awful experience at the Moxie not long ago with a family talking through a not-kid-friendly film, and when I complained to the staff afterward they stated they've had previous issues with the family but they clearly weren't going to do anything about it. (I am a member, and will continue to visit the Moxie frequently though)

Wow, I'm sorry that it was that painful for you! I never realized it would be like that for some people. I guess I'm just lucky that it didn't feel like anything more than severe cramps. I suppose the first thing you should do is check if your insurance covers general anesthesia. It might be cost prohibitive otherwise.

Why do you want to be put under for a procedure that takes all of 10 minutes? I was directed by my doctor to take a heavy dose of Ibuprofen 2 hours beforehand (I'm talking 800mg), and take the rest of the day off of work to deal with any cramping and discomfort afterwards. I can't think of any reason why getting an iud would require the risks of going under general anesthesia. If you're simply anxious about the procedure your doctor may be able to prescribe Xanax or something similar to take beforehand. Edit: I made some pretty awful assumptions, and I apologize.

I have a friend that works for Progressive and she said pretty much everyone is going to see an increase in their premiums because the cost of repair/replacement has gone up significantly. $200 seems like an excessive amount though, so you should shop around for a better rate.

Please don't write in any name unless you know the person has been running a "write in" campaign. I have been an election judge in the past, and the number of ballots with write in names (especially joke names such as Santa) was infuriating. It made a long day much longer since we have to manually tabulate every write in vote.

It's better just to leave it blank if you don't want to vote for anyone that is on the ballot.

The public library system in Springfield/Greene county is absolutely spectacular! There are so many locations, great free programs, amazing amount of materials to check out, and a fantastic book sale twice a year. It's such a weird dichotomy to the anti-intellect vibe that much of Springfield gives off, and I'm certainly happy that the library seems to always have patrons. Edit: spelling

Yeah Cox Health is a joke, I have never had such difficulty in scheduling appointments anywhere else I've lived in the recent past. I don't know if they had become short staffed during the pandemic and just haven't recovered, but their lack of communication with patients (walk in clinics included) is infuriating.

I have had the best luck by establishing care with a provider that allows online booking for your initial appointment. After that you can send them a message through the patient portal and they can schedule appointments without you having to call.

In the past I've also tried to call and had to leave messages with no response. It's infuriating, but knowing they recently moved office locations I would give them a bit more patience.
