Depends on the construction and materials but generally yes. Glue melts and excessive sun to leather can cause cracking. Though leather do need conditioning every once in a while. Just to be safe go with air dry.

I prefer listening to portable. I am already satisfied with what I own but I would love if they somewhat made a miracle dongle that doesn't lose its connection when it my phone is in my pocket. Also, an audiophile level dongle (not a thumb drive style) that has mic support. Like Meizu Hifi Pro, which they discontinued.

Edit: or better yet. Bring back the good ol' headphone jack, but with abs.

Again, I don't have issue with bitrate. I'm fine with 320kbps even 192. I have issues with YouTube compression. As you said, indie bands do not have the best production, but compressing it makes it worse.

THWIP is not the band, that's the name of the album. The duo was Two Chilekings. And THWIP is their one and only album. Though the bassist was relatively active (RIP)

3k in my phone. The 4tb is divided into different Bluray, DVD-A, and SACDs. One Bluray is about 10GB. The biggest is around 42GB IIRC (John Lennon).

Cause it's more convenient and I don't have to transfer all my collection to my audio player. It's inaudible anyway especially in my usecase which is traveling. I just keep my collection just in case I need it (like when I don't have internet to stream). Also, I don't have 4tb of storage in my phone.
