You should care out of a sense of basic decency and civic responsibility that the rules are being followed.
Under no circumstances should people steal public funds from fallen heroes.

It's pretty simple. Conduct a paternity test.
Even further? If she fails, indict and convict her for fraud. I'm fucking done seeing the cops and other "officials" stealing my God damned money. I pay way too much and have for years. Fuck 'Em. If she's lying put her ass in prison as an example to the rest of the scumbags.

Really? It was harvested months after he died? A full year has already passed. This is ridiculous and an abuse of taxpayer funds. A paternity test should be required at a bare minimum.

it's pretty obvious that he can't be the father after 1 year has passed and they still have months to go. I get that NY Post is a ridiculously fallacious publication, but JFC have some decency.

Huh? The biology does not compute.
Sorry, but this makes no sense at all. Even for a birth in the spring.

It's true. We operate under very different rules and regulations than NYS so that must pose problems with the licensing scheme a bit.

We have examples of other places where it was successfully implemented. It wouldn't be outside the realm of normalcy to simply copy the laws and licensing schemes and then make them our own.

Were they seriously supposed to wait years for these clowns to get their act together and issue licenses? It's 2023 and we approved this in 2021. It's ridiculous and they only have themselves to blame for the unlicensed marijuana market.

I don't think he's running. The stink of Florida won't come off of him anytime soon, plus he'd have to face off against Trump who would probably say that he has a flat ass or something equally childish.

It's a gay leather bar (same name in a lot of cities) and your chances are likely higher as straight men to find anyone there because they don't mind giving a pass for mediocre hygienic standards + for older guys it's a novelty.

If you want to find someone, try East Village/LES. I'd say that's probably the loosest areas of Manhattan with less uptight people.
Hellsea, where you currently are, is a place where you could pick up a lady but wouldn't.

The people who believe in pizza gate haven't changed and that he happened to get a pizza and somehow that's a global sex conspiracy shows how fucking stupid these people are.
There is a cabal of rich people raping children, obviously. Not all of them but a handful. Pizzagate is just the stupid political hack idea born of morons either domestic or abroad who are desperate for anything to validate their stupid beliefs.

This is just the usual legal wrangling that drags out death penalty cases for a long length of time.
I don't believe in the death penalty, but its use here is clearly not negated by showing a jury what a county jail looks like. I'm kind of surprised the attorneys aren't embarrassed by pulling this chicanery, but then again, I'm not.

Reply to ELI5, Why can't STDs be cured/irradicated by isolating the disease through infected people? by AnanomusMan
This is more of a legal question than a medical one. This would be like arresting someone for catching the flu, except in this case, some of these STIs are life-long.
This would also discourage getting tested, thus increasing infectivity for those we can treat.

If she's going to have another man's baby and NYC pays for it to have a full ride and a pension to cover its care, she's guilty of fraud and theft and deserves prison. That's why I think a paternity test should be required not just in this case, but all cases where public funds are being used.
