That one freaked me out. I thought for sure it'd be bigger news when all the cannibal stuff came out, but it kind of just faded out pretty quickly it seemed like. Of course there was speculation these could be the guys responsible for the Springfield 3 murders, but it was just that, speculation.

If you're right handed, your left ear will grow. If you're left handed, its your right ear. Scientists believe its a natural mechanism to make up for not being competent with your off hand, so at least you can hear predators coming sooner from that side.

Granted I'm not super knowledgeable about this stuff, but wouldn't harvested seed with slight genetic differences make it less susceptible to disease as compared to homogenous seed that you buy from the producer every year that is exactly the same? If a disease hits your crop with all identical seeds, its going to kill everything, whereas if there is some natural genetic differences in your seeds it might make some of it just different enough to not be as affected by the disease. In theory anyway.

While you're technically correct on the pump, the pump itself is manipulating the insulin delivery to mimic long acting insulin so that's only a semantic difference. Whether it's a constant drip from a pump or a constant release from injected basal insulin, all type 1s need a constant delivery of insulin.

The trouble is, if your doctor says you need the shot every 3 months, the insurance company will only cover it once every 6 months, and when you get an exception written up by your doctor they'll still deny the request. When a generic comes out that isn't as effective, they'll force you to switch, again against your doctor's orders.

People focus on how expensive healthcare in this country is because of this broken system, but to me the crazier thing is how much your insurance company can dictate how your doctor treats you.

I was curious so I looked it up, and there are 29 cities in MO with a population greater than 25k. Only 6 of those are not suburbs of KC or STL. Those places are (in order of most populous to least):

  1. Springfield
  2. Columbia
  3. St. Joseph
  4. Joplin
  5. Jefferson City
  6. Cape Girardeau

Make of that what you will.

Its pretty divisive on Reddit, because everyone here is a professional critic lol. Its a cowboy soap opera, so if you take it at face value for what it is, you'll have a great time. Just don't expect Breaking Bad level of writing lol. I enjoy it quite a lot, and look forward to the next season. In my opinion its very binge-able. Especially if you like Westerns.

Musk is no doubt a successful businessman. He isn't however, the genius inventor that he portrays himself as. He sees a good idea, buys the company, and funds/expands it. Most of his companies were all existing entities with established ideas before he got involved with them. He's not the innovator himself, he just pays other people to innovate. He'd like you to think its all him, though.
