May want to check timing of your flight if it arrives late. Their last bus leaves Logan at 11pm I think and have had some issues with late flights and waiting for luggage in baggage claim . When you arrive go outside of baggage claim and look for the signage think it says shuttle bus or scheduled busses
I also have used Ubers to get to the coast but it’ll be $$100+ vs 30sh

Or we could just keep launching satellites and rockets into space. The space junk will have the same effect and we would create a new industry that could employ thousands of space junk collectors

Agreed .I picked up a window recently for my sister in laws house 48x69 so big window for 75$ . Was in great shape .
They have lots of doors and hardware but trying to outfit an entire house may be iffy due to dimensions needed but if you are doing it slowly could be the ways to go
I worked at a restore for Habitat ( Andover/Lawrence) and they have a larger selection than Newington so I’d shop around but they use to have a ton of appliances at that spot

Very much agree
This is what I was trying to say. My daughter knows the topics she was asking about . The utility of the tool is the ability to take all the data that is out there and coalesce it into a statement that makes sense .

So i just tried this with my daughter . She’s taking a super hard class in pathogen microbiology and I can barely understand the question the professor asked her to answer .
So I go to chatGPT and we talk it out and find ourselves learning the material much quicker . She knew the questions to elicit the answers but she was using it like a teaching assistant
This will be a game changer for how people learn and may ultimately play into some transition for higher education . Enrollment is about to drop off a cliff so curious to see how it plays out

I appreciate the volunteering and have volunteered at call centers and the polling centers myself trying to verify addresses so I’m also to blame . It is annoying now but also the electorate is Changing so much and we can’t rely on land lines . Many of us are digital nomads so those of us who aren’t get all the love :(

Lived here all 55sh years and have seen every president since Reagan and I could care less .
The amount of useless energy and torment from people knocking door to door non stop, to pollsters calling every hour non fucking stop ;)

Hey. I have been living in Portsmouth for a while and have a few ideas.
I also have a 21yo son that just moved to Charleston SC but when he is home he enjoys going out to the Press Room to see some music and TJs but he says mostly college kids and not his thing anymore . He always winds up there though :)
If going out to bars isn’t your thing got some other options. Volunteer for the Music Hall . Just starting to do that. Mostly older people but good way to meet local folks and see some good movies and bands . The Portsmouth Makers Space is good if you want to make stuff and needs volunteers and PMAC is great to join and look for a way to get involved if you enjoy art. The Gundalow in the summer is a great way place to volunteer and get free river crusades. Have some friends that do that.
Jimmys Jazz also has volunteer slots I believe and very cool place.
Good luck. Feel free to DM if any follow up needed

Good luck! Would be interested in how you prepare and how it goes . Was talking to my buddy and he always apportioned a significant % of his time at home and wasn’t listed as WFH employee. My sense is maybe they flag you if they see a spike from one year to another ?

I’m right on the border of Maine and am in the same situation with my company though they still want my headcount to come from our beautiful Cambridge office that I never visit . Been arguing for a while with my boss so been just trying to slowly increase my apportionment up to a net positive on my federal and state return cycle

Interesting . Sounds like they did select some claims to Audit. I have always apportioned my days WFH and never been audited. Had some friends that claimed near 100% and didn’t get called in. Thought they would be . I only did 25% -50%though I am fully remote and was fine .
