Do things the right way and get it repaired at a quality shop (yes they will most likely report it to CarFax). With that being said, damage will show as minor and as long as it was a quality job you won’t take as much of a hit in value. Believe me, people who will appraise your car in the future can tell if it’s been in an accident, regardless of the records and especially if you repair it at a shitty shop

Typically most police reports aren’t reported to CarFax. I have fallen victim of several hit and runs in this area. The ones are CarFax happen to only be the ones that the damage was repaired by a shop and not myself. As far as the loss of value, that would be a waste of time. That would mean you’d be able to do this for every accident if you were not at fault, that typically isn’t an outcome

Maybe they are waiting to see what the cost analysis is before diving into it. Electric vehicles are less effiecient in cold weather, which consumes a good amount of our year. The regen breaking should help with city traffic.

I work for for a government agency and during the pandemic when we tried to get free hand sanitizer from the feds to give to the public, they sent us expired product. Due to the laws we had to pay to discard it due to the quantiy of it. Sometimes free isn't always better.

This happens to me frequesntly at Grove St but I am never charged a trip when it happens. Usually happens the most when my card auto-reloads. Hopefully they stay on track to switch to an Omny style tap and go system for 2023. If not we can expect it when the EWR extension is built

As much as we loved the layouts and natural materials(concrete floors, exposed brick and wood beams) the valet and small windows were enough to push us away on top of the pushy sales people. After a day of looking they said we had till EOD to sign before they would increase the price on a weekly basis. Working from home, the lack of light was super depressing
