The Facts of Life skits on The Big Gay Sketch show cracked me up with that line alone.

The writing on that show was so bad that I never try to figure out the reasoning behind any of the decisions like this. I think the only way to enjoy it is as a trashy soap opera. I watched it weekly during the original run as I longed for representation on tv. But it was frustrating as hell.

I hope that’s just a joke about Mrs. G. I’d be sad to find out Charlotte Rae was trouble.
