While true, I’m willing to bet there’s considerably less demand for what I have to offer haha

This is what got me. A couple of months ago, there was a flood on my apartment’s floor. We only got about 2-3 inches of water that came in and made our living room float. I felt so overwhelmed by having to move everything upstairs and knowing that my storage closet was full of water too and not know what was slightly damaged or not.
I can’t even imagine a situation like this where you literally watch your house crumble. Now it’s not even “what was damaged?” But rather “what survived and can I even ever get it back?”

Reply to Canada eliminated from men's World Cup contention despite Alphonso Davies' historic goal by Genevieves_bitch
At the time of the World Cup in 2014, Canada was ranked 110th in the world in FIFA’s men’s rankings.
In 2018, they were ranked 78.
And now they’re ranked 41.
The rankings don’t really mean much in the real world but it does kind of help illustrate that they’ve only gotten better. They went up by 69 (nice.) spots in 8 years to be from out of the top 100 to within the top 50 in the world.
So much to be proud of!

It’s Reddit….not an actual NASA board meeting. People don’t need permission to just throw out random thoughts. This doesnt lead to anything.
> The starting assumption is that people are being stupid […] which comes about from this bias toward personal superiority and intelligence
I’m kind of getting some projection vibes from this comment. You complain that someone would have the balls to have a random thought about how to clean the dust because they’re assuming people from different space agencies are stupid but then also say “well they’re not smart enough to think of a solution like this”.
You seem to be taking this all very seriously. I’m not sure who you are or what you do. But Reddit isn’t where NASA or ESA or SpaceX or whoever comes to for solutions. There’s literally no harm in anyone writing anything here as a fleeting thought. And to go ahead and write 4 paragraphs about why someone should feel bad about making a comment on a discussion forum is pretty silly.

Don’t forget that there’s also the spin from earth that basically goes the other way when staring at Jupiter so that probably contributes a little bit too.

But have they all coached around 47 seasons? That’s a pretty important comparison I’m sure.
(I don’t follow college basketball at all so I’m not sure about the average “shelf life” of a coach)
