No, it's really not, it's been paying out its obligations as promised. I get what you're trying to say, but that just makes it underfunded. There's nobody running off with all the money, it's going to people it's supposed to, so that immediately eliminates it being a Ponzi scam.

Yes and no, a good chunk is disbursed, but the remainder is put into Treasury bonds. But even if all of the money went out to current recipients, that's still not a Ponzi scheme. At best, you could call Social Security underfunded in that case, but there's no attempt to defraud anyone.

It's not a Ponzi scheme, Social Security actually has your money in an interest bearing investment.

Newly "Remodeled" apartments means they got rid of the old hood that actually vented outside; put down new paint; and laid down linoleum everywhere there was carpet before.
At least, that's what it meant for the apartments I moved into last year.

That's exactly how I tell when people are using speech to text, never understood why that's a default.

I think you missed the entire point of the article. White supremacists that Musk reinstated that paid for the blue check are supposed to get a cut of ad revenue for ads under their posts. It has nothing to do with "The algorithm" putting ads next to posts because of a keyword mixup; the ads were placed by design.

There's a pretty big ethical problem that comes with diverting valuable and highly limited liquor to yourself when you're the regulatory board for liquor.

This is college football in the South we're talking about here. I wouldn't be shocked if they have staff on call. Can't have team members getting DUIs .

Yeah, now they just privatize all the really profitable prison services like phone calls and commissary. They let the state handle the unprofitable stuff like incarceration.

Drug dogs have repeatedly been shown to be useless, it's pretty public knowledge that the handler is why they alert. We still use them anyway, I don't get it.
