Reply to What does “5G uw” mean? On 14p by Curious_Bumblebee511
As others have said, 5G ultra wideband.
It can get you some crazy fast speeds. Here's a speedtest I took at an airport which had it a a while back https://i.imgur.com/eENrh4z.jpg
Super convenient in places like that. I'd forgotten to download anything before my flight, and I was able to download a a few GB of shows just while I was standing in line to board the plane.

I’ve been noticing the same lately. I’ll try to load a page and it just gets stuck forever on like 10% loading progress

They are capable of it (actually it's Display P3 which is a variant of DCI-P3 developed by Apple), but only switch to it when viewing HDR content (and maybe photos and videos taken by the phone). Otherwise it's always in sRGB.

In that case I'm not too sure. I just switched from Android to iPhone a few weeks ago, I know on my S21 there was a color temperature adjustment slider, not sure if the same is present somewhere on iPhone or not.

Do you have true tone on? That typically always makes the screen look much more warm

I'm pretty sure they are all factory calibrated (typically very very well) to d65 white point and sRGB color space.

Reply to IOS not as smooth by Rocky_Duck
I recently went the other way (Samsung -> iPhone) and I'd kinda agree. I think it's maybe specifically something to do with the animation speed, general animations seem a touch faster on my old Samsung than they do on IOS where they have a bit longer of a duration, which makes the Samsung feel more responsive.
The actual smoothness of the screen should be the same between the s23 ultra and 14 pro max though, both use 120Hz screens with 240Hz touch sampling rates.
