That was my first thought as well. They were trying to cover their ass on poor patient treatment which wouldn't be surprising.

Can confirm. You obviously know it's a cup, you know you know the word cup, the word cup feels right on the edge of your tongue, but for the life of you, you cannot say cup.
I have the same issue due to brain damage. The way people react is ridiculous. I'm just as intelligent as I always was, I still am a masters educated historian even if I can't fucking say cup sometimes. But everyone thinks you're dumb because of it. Which is well, dumb.

Thank you! They gave me all kinds of problems when I brought my mail in ballot in because it had a different address than where I'm registered. But I was at the polling location where I'm registered. Same place I've voted for 10 years. The mailing location and the registered location had the same ballot of people to vote for. My mail in ballot had a different address because I'm renting and move so much so I use my mom's address as I always have. I never had an issue before so I found that odd.

Question: if you received a mail in ballot but did not fill it out or send it, do you need to bring it with you to vote like a commenter above is stating?
I received one automatically as did my partner (i think because we did in 2020) but since we had issues with mail in for the primaries, we're both voting in person

It's a lot harder to do when your well being and rights are on the line if certain people are elected.

When my partner and I moved to baldwin, I asked for restaurant recommendations in the south hills on here and got a lot of good ones. We've been working through them.

Reply to Half a cow by wyluda
My boyfriend's family lives in Amish country and did this a few times. Which is how he was introduced to the horrors of beef tongue and badly cooked liver. Because (at least in Amish country) when they say you get half a cow, they really do mean half of everything.

I ran into the same issue. I moved away for 8 years and despite my best efforts, by the time I moved back, the Pittsburgh friends weren't friends anymore. And it's almost impossible to get into friend groups around here because most are from when they were kids. I've been back two years and haven't made any new friends unfortunately. My boyfriend and I even happened to have moved next door to someone who I actually in the same friend group with in high school. I thought that was an in to make some friends but it unfortunately has not been because they aren't interested.
It was actually easier to make friends when I had moved away from Pittsburgh but I'm not sure if it was because I was younger or what.
My partner and I don't really drink either (maybe a beer or glass of wine every month or two). So it's extra challenging to find soical events and meet people.
Edit I should add it's doubly hard because I'm physically disabled which makes some clubs/activities not really doable and people tend to be uncomfortable with disability.

Conservatives almost getting it.
This has to be satire, right?
