Did you know keeping slaves was very common in ancient Norse culture? Which means there are tons of white people today who have the exact same background when it comes to slavery as African Americans... same with almost every race/culture to date. Yes you're very much correct this happend and was awful, but slavery is not exclusively a race thing or unique in our country's history.
