Reply to Hoping to get some help on rent laws by From_My_Brain
The landlord is wrong. If she enters into a yearly lease, the new owner would have to honor the contract.
However, the landlord would be crazy to start a new lease while the property is listed for sale.

I was coming off Rte 9 in Cromwell and a big ass Caddy SUV was licking my bumper. Line of cars in front of me going straight are slow, what can I do?
Caddy swerved into the right turn only lane only to cut back in in front of me and almost ate the car in front. He must have thought I was crawling along on purpose lol
Asshat tried to do the same at the next light, to the next car in front of him, and almost ate the side of another car in front of that one.
People be wildin'

Reply to Mouse in an apartment.. by [deleted]
Mice get in this time of year. A single mouse isn't an infestation, though it could turn into one if it is pregnant. Set a trap or series of them where the mouse travels.
I have had the occasional mouse get in my house when it gets cold.
Large holes should be repaired. Smaller holes/around pipes, stuff steel wool and caulk or spray foam.
Mice can get in through even a small opening around a pipe under sinks and behind laundry appliances.
I get it, I hate mice. They get into food and cabinets. Nobody wants that.

Can you record a conversation without consent in ct?
Connecticut requires at least one party's consent to record an in-person conversation.
For telephonic conversations, consent of all parties is required to avoid potential civil liability, though criminal penalties do not apply if at least one party has consented to the recording.

Reply to Is paying $205 a month for car insurance good for a new driver in CT? by AdditionUsual6376
Honestly, $205 isn't that bad for a new driver, even for just minimum coverage.
I have my 24yo daughter on the same policy and it is $130 a month for two drivers and two cars with full coverage and increased liability amounts.
She was paying $225 a month on her own policy.
As a new driver in her late teens/early 20's, it was closer to $250/300 for basic coverage and liability.
