Try blackened catfish, delicious. I grew up eating catfish stew with hush puppies

If just showing scratches from the scrubbing, try a piece of brick. Brick will remove staining but won't scratch porcelain. It will also remove hard water rings

I always use tomato paste. Love the consistency. Chili shouldn't be soupy( bless your mom)
