That rest stop has always been great until Covid, since then I’ve never seen all the stores open at once. It’s a shame, it’s the only one before a long stretch of no rest stops so I try to stop there every time.

I'm in Rochester now and you're going to have to explain what you mean by "thriving corner stores". I know of maybe one or two in the city, but Pittsburgh has those as well. Especially if the dividing line between "bodega" and corner store/gas station is the produce. You can get eggs and milk just about anywhere in either city.

Basing the whole point on a rumor that has never been verified by anyone, even as Wegmans expands into places like NYC and NJ that are even more territorial and corrupt with zoning and permits.

They're in like 9 states now. They've taken hold in territory all across the country that used to belong to even bigger chains than Giant Eagle. Sometimes it's not a conspiracy.

You can't find it here because it mostly relies on fresh made wide rice noodles. They're okay refrigerated for a day or two, but really not great frozen, and a pain to make in small quantities. If you're not living somewhere with a big enough Chinese population it's not going to be as good/popular, which means that most places won't have it.

That being said I've definitely had it from Szechuan Spice and it was pretty good.

Both programs are good, and for a PsyD you should take whatever one lets you in and has the best working/financial aid situation.

CCAC. Just be aware their deadlines and admissions standards for nursing are different than the rest of CCAC.

Make sure you check out the other programs/jobs at this link. There's a lot of good paying healthcare careers that aren't nursing. That job is not for everyone, and if you're squeamish or just not a people person there's a lot of other good jobs to get (and quicker than a nursing degree too, although with less pay)

A lot of those districts are also going to hire people they like, so when you’re subbing make sure you’re personable and someone other people remember and want to work with. Most teachers are in a district for life so they’re going to go to bat for people who care and aren’t hard to work with.

There’s a lot of qualified teachers so the intangibles make a big difference. Good luck!

You're out far enough that it won't be too too hard to break in. I know people who work in the Moon SD and Cornell SD. Moon's students as easier to teach but Cornell's probably easier to get a job in. Quaker Valley across the river is a top tier district, but very hard to get a job in.

Here's a map of the school districts: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/83/Map_of_Allegheny_County_Pennsylvania_School_Districts.png

Worth just putting out feelers and checking job boards of everything around you. I'd hold out for a non-charter job, they pay significantly less and subbing will get you into a district faster than charter schools if you already have years of experience.

Good luck!

Amazon is just as likely to have old stock as anywhere else. They receive product blind from sellers and don't know what goes out to who.

Plus going somewhere to do something novel is much more enjoyable than getting yet another package delivered to your house and paying $15 for the privilege to do so.
