Reply to Apparently the MBTA is having a tough time filling their IT positions to the point they're resorting to using a particular type of 3rd party recruiters located out-of-state to fill them by goldeneye0
I did government contract IT out in South Dakota for about two years. Like a lot of contract work - it's higher than usual pay but typically less benefits. Was a fun experience but I'm glad to be working a salaried nongovernmental job these days. Outsourced recruiters are prolific and annoying but I still respond to them all asking about the remote policy then kindly reject when it's hybrid-onsite.

I buy it from The Fuller Cup in Winchester when I'm in the area otherwise I order online. Personally use mostly the Nine Bar Espresso. But I've tried a few drip coffee beans and been happy as well

In Terminal A - Clear has never had a line for me in the 34 flights Ive taken this year - and Pre check was maybe 12 people on average and often empty. I just used clear so I could use my eyeballs instead of needing to get ID out.

Harold Parker State Forest is just a few minutes away and there is a private conservation club that buys empty lots/estates and turns them in conservation land and public access trails/parks.

We first bought in Woburn ( pre pandemic prices) but got a large dog... then another large dog and needed more space so we moved a bit further north to Andover.
Its lovely here and on non congestion times, can be in Boston in as little as 30 minutes. There is also a direct Bus from Andover to downtown as far as commuting and also the ballardvale train station.

Because it's too hot for you ? By that logic Boston is completely unwalkable most of Fall and all of winter due to the cold?

Can fly to Atlanta and take the MARTA right to the city core and it has protected bike lanes. Downtown Atlanta is very walkable.
