Yeah I'm saying make them pay more anyway, since they don't reside there and keep homes out of the market for people who would otherwise live there.

Good thing homeowners in some of the wealthiest towns still pay a lower percentage than most. Can we please tax the fuck out of wealthy vacation homes not even owned by people in the state?

Go to court, speak with the prosecutor and see if they lower the penalty/fee, if they don't knock it down just plead not guilty and get a lawyer.

Reply to ASPCA had my friend's "reported lost" microchipped cat. They rehomed it to another family and tried to get the microchip changed. Now another family own's the cat. by [deleted]
I would keep bugging them as much as possible. Call daily, contact everyone up the chain of command, do everything you can to get the chairman's info.
That statement from October 26th is pure bullshit. They just don't want to deal with it anymore. I personally would be going nuclear over this. Get these people's info and never let them go a day without hearing from you until you get that cat back. There's also now way the "new family" wouldn't give that cat back to you. They aren't as heartless as the ASPCA.

Reply to Can someone explain the justification for having "private" beaches? It seems like access to natural attractions should be free. by SnooBooks4898
So that when you come down on vacation from Long Island you don't have to deal with the undesirable locals. You've worked so hard maintaining your families vast generational wealth, having a private beach to relax with out having any poors in sight is what you deserve.
