Yeah, and zero public transit, piss-poor public parks network, and a homeless problem that’s orders of magnitude worse than in NY.

I genuinely don’t see what’s dystopian about this. The rich can go vacation without all the noise pollution which currently hurts everyone else?

Just a reminder that in the 30’s to 40’s with LaGuardia and under a proportional representation system the city council used to have six parties, with the two biggest parties being the Democrats and the American Labor Party.

Sure, but I meant on the basis of the system as a whole, NYC is pretty unparalleled in the US in that regard. Although Balboa park does look awesome and something to add to a potential future visit.
