No, I'm discounting SubZero because I have one, and it isn't great at keeping food cold without freezing it, and my bro has 2 which are constantly being fixed.
Your link goes straight to a paywall.
But thanks.

Ankarsrum. Truly BIFL.
Kitchen Aid is trash these days. I burned up an Artisan, rebuilt it, burned it up again, bought a pro-line, was well on my way to killing it, retired it to backup duty and bought an Ankarsrum. Couldn’t be happier.
Nobody even considers Cuisinart when talking stand mixers.

Go to a real bike shop, not Wallyworld.
Buy one that fits.
Helmets are a consumable, not BIFL.

Yeah. But the 5w difference isn’t that big of a deal compared to having to take it out of the case. And if we actually need speed we’re plugging in the 20w lightning.

FWIW the Tozo 4” charger pads on Amazon charge better through stuff. The Apple MagSafe won’t charge through my wife’s case but the Tozo does great.

Walking shoes should never be BIFL. They’re a wear item. After a certain number of miles the cushion breaks down and no longer does its job. Also the soles, and construction in general, need to be light weight so it wears out quickly.
Just get a good pair and consider them disposable.

Go to your local hardware store or screen shop.
The pet-proof stuff is heavier and consists of nylon threads coated with rubber.
You can also get aluminum screen, but it’s pretty stiff. I don’t think it would work very well.

Not sure of the answer, but I’m definitely interested in the solution.
Maybe DIY it with pet proof screen?

How much of a klutz are you that you can scratch up a phone screen in a couple months? I’ve put literally one noticeable scratch on a screen, working many construction projects, in the last 20 years. I’ve never used screen protectors.

Honestly it’s pretty life changing on my 14PM. I was having the same issues you described, but with the ring I can change my grip around enough to easily access the entire screen one handed.

Reply to Food processor, not too big by blaze1234
Keep your eyes peeled for a Cuisinart. They show up at Goodwill and yard sales all the time.
Of course, having said that, there’s a reason they do. Food processors are generally more trouble than they’re worth. I’m a super avid cook and there’s almost nothing I can’t do faster and easier with another tool. I have one, but I generally only break it out 2 or 3 times per year for some super specialized task.

Exactly this. You’re always better off “self insuring” for any sort of consumer good. Apple care, extended warranty, etc are just ploys to take more money out of your pocket.

Absolutely not worth it for you. Just grab whatever is cheap at Costco.
https://luggageworks.com/ is BIFL, but super heavy and totally overkill for someone that doesn’t travel 10+ times per month.
