Last year unions across the nation saw a huge increase in membership and general creation. Unions are pushing harder than ever and repealing a law designed to hamper them is a good sign. We still have a long way to go, but this is definitely a step in the right direction.

It's good to know that a war hasn't dampened their love for one another. Let's hope this war ends soon and they can enjoy it without the specter of bloodshed hanging over them.

I was worried that he might have neurological problems because of the lack of air getting to his brain. Fortunately there doesn't appear to be any lasting damage so I was finally able to breath a sigh of relief. Though he'll never play a game of football again, not after getting an injury like that. Still, much better outcome than what could have happened.

Many governors (mostly in Republican led states) have increased their pace to ban certain books.
This site gives a basic rundown of what to look for and the understanding of the laws surrounding the bans.

What makes it great is that despite some groups efforts to block book reading, there are still so many more people getting into reading. Especially at a young age. It's heartwarming.
