As someone who never watches the world cup, I'm tempted to stream replays of every other world cup just so that this can become the exception that I won't watch.

Just England's luck. They finally win the world cup and it happens to be the one with no-one there to celebrate it, that the world will pretend never happened.

Of all the world cups, this is the one where that could actually happen! Don't give up hope!

After everything else that's come out, if this is what makes someone boycott it, there's need for some serious introspection.
