I work a lot and I’m away from home quite a bit. And even then I run a light and my television while I’m awake. my bill for last month is $90.

People with money have moved to Maine in droves during the pandemic. The problem being for the native Mainers is that we are a pretty poor state and good jobs aren’t plentiful. It has caused a housing crisis. People will jump on me and say that we should go back to school, get better jobs, better ourselves, etc. We’ve heard it all. But it’s not an opinion, it’s a fact that this has had a big impact on the poor and middle class Mainers.

A cop in Baileyville died and they were escorting the body to the ME office. There was also a big funeral for another in Bangor today that a lot of LE from around the state attended.

I also had a mystery virus for months when I was about three years old. The doctors back then pumped me full of antibiotics, which of course don’t kill a virus. We lived in Boston at the time and I saw a new doctor. Way back then in the 60s he was telling people that antibiotics don’t kill viruses. That was kind of a new idea back then. But anyway, I was sick for months and no one has ever figured out what it was.

That’s a wise choice on their part.

Those rivalries run deep. Apparently there was talk a few years ago of Howland and Milo merging. Howland was not happy.

I was at a local walk-in today which is also a medical practice. There were signs about a new outbreak. Most of the seating has been removed again. It’s usually busy there between regular patients and the walk-in. I was the only one there.

I have had mono several times in my life. Then I developed rheumatoid arthritis, which I feel was jumpstarted by the Epstein Barr virus.
