The artist rendering is better at generating interest in the concept/project. It really could be lovely and helpful.

I believe some departments have 3 days in, 2 from home. Others are 5 days in office.

I had one wfh day in the before times and it was a pain to arrange. I work in an office in Higher Ed. Now it’s the reverse, one day in the office. It would be different if I was a new hire.

That poor person. The shock and his determination to get going is astounding. I honestly stay close to walls and avoid being too close to the edge. Scary humans out there.

Where is the thermostat in your apt? If it’s in a well sealed room, it may not be getting triggered by the cold and not turning on. Locate it and come to a consensus with your roommate(s) re what is a reasonable temp to keep it. In the meantime, buy window sealer from the hardware store and apply to your windows. It will help. I’d also suggest getting an electric blanket. A plush one with auto shutoff will help.

Ecovessel. Steel interior, even the lid so no plastic touches the liquid. It’s so easy to clean. The water always has that cold fresh taste.

Thanks for the heads up. I was startled one year when I heard the whoosh and didn’t know what it was.
