Yes, I agree with you, I was being sarcastic about people who make others believe that you need some crazy high end amplifier to run budget headphones.

For example, when someone says that they didn't enjoyed HD600 and there comes guy in comments saying that you need $1000 Dac and Amp to power them.

Obviously, but if you don't like headphone, giving more power won't make you love it.

Pink Floyd's Echoes, its just my favourite song and have listened to it tons of time, no other reason.

I don't know how long cheap Chi-fi stuff will last, cause they are still too new, but I've seen people with 10+ year old Shure and Etymotic IEM's.

I don't hear difference between loseless and lossy files, but sometimes just knowing that you are listening to highest quality recording is enough.

I've been using Blackplayer EX, I just love how customizable everything is, but developer is no longer updating app and it doesn't have usb dac support.

You should check out Sennheiser HD25's, they might not look as cool as those, but they are still made and you can get one new, so you don't have to pay some insane price on those used.
edit: forgot to mention that HD25's are closed back and 424's are open back.
