If Virgin Galactic is even a company by 2025 that'll be a success. Branson already did his pump and dump scheme with the stock, and to the extent these joyrides even have an actual market Blue Origin has the better product. VG just took too long, whatever moment they might have had has already passed

There isn't much to say, Haiti doesn't want foreign intervention in the issue (the people appear to be at odds with the president in who asked for it) and with little desire for foreign intervention on behalf of the US and international community the gangs will control Port-au-Prince and Haiti as the new normal until something radically changes.

And of course if the shuttle program was known for anything it was for being cost-effective, coming in under budgetary projections and delivering the promised capabilities

I know I'm on pins and needles wanting to get info on the Trappist system as well. That said apparently data from JWST is proprietary to the research teams for the first twelve months (after that is free to the world) and with something this big no research team will want to jump the gun, so it'll be a while I imagine until we get any news.

Reply to Why aren't we sending a state of the art Voyager 3 out? by Temporary-High
The Voyager probes were able to do what they do because of a one in a century alignment which allowed them to get gravity assists and slingshot their way from each one. Orbital mechanics being what they are and the cost of bringing fuel along you have to wait until the planets are just right to do that. Now if you mean just flinging something out into the universe we've done that recently with the new horizons probe which is just now heading its way out of the solar system.
