I usually prefer not understanding the language, so that if it sounds good and the lyrics are mediocre/same old lovey dovey crap, I won't notice. It also makes it easier to tune out instead of focusing on meaning if it's just for background noise.
My go to is Japanese in the form of anime songs and vocaloid.
