Being as how I’m a white guy from Southern MO, have a “hillbilly” accent, and frankly do kinda look/dress “redneck”. Many people over the years have always assumed that I was racist. Though, the people that actually know me describe me as anything but. I’ve had it both ways. Someone from a minority group just automatically treating me like I’m some mouth breathing klansman. Or, conversely, I’ve had other white folks just automatically assume that I share the same hatful opinions that they have. Either way, I correct them very quickly.

They’re just claiming regrowing toes, no way they can change cloven hooves into human feet. /s

I’d love the know the story behind that. I’ve always seen them and couldn’t figure it out.

If it’s anything like other places, it will. Especially opioid abusers due to chronic pain.

Ever been in a mountain town while there’s a wildfire? That’s the closest I’ve ever experienced to what I imagine Silent Hill would be like. Dense heavy smoke everywhere. Can’t see more than a few feet in any direction. Wildlife is scarce. No one is outside doing anything. It’s just ominous and scary. Plus, the added bonus of barely being able to breathe.

Yeah, I think was the only one of those guys that actually came the closest to actually surviving. That’s why he did way less “risky” things than Bear did. People would say that Les’s show was “boring”. Yeah, there’s a reason for that…he didn’t have a massive support crew with him.

I don’t know, but growing up down there and knowing some of the players involved…something tells me no. More than likely they were just severely under prepared and then used that as a convenient excuse that they hoped no one would question.
