Thanks for the insight on that one! When I looked at the services offered from AAA, I don’t think they handle register/title a vehicle. I’ll call tomorrow just to double check though!

Appreciate the comment and input from folks! I do trust that they offered that earlier. My worst fear is walking in and then getting turned away. I read that for some people they made appointment at the RMV after not getting after waiting the whole day. I read the same thing on the mass.gov and was hoping they meant appointment wasn’t mandatory. I don’t think anyone likes to walk-in and wait hours on end unless they couldn’t get an appointment beforehand.

Thank you! I must be really stupid then because the website won’t let me make an appointment if I choose “register my vehicle”. Am I choosing the wrong thing?

Do you mind elaborating on the problems? I’m not familiar with car insurance. But it sounds like the car isn’t allowed to be “housed” at anywhere else besides the address on the policy? We moved out recently so that’s why the addresses are different. Should that be updated with the insurance policy? We moved 10 minute drive away from them.

That’s a good idea! She doesn’t have a good relationship with her dad, may get the car taken away. Only her dad has access to change their policy and he likely will not do that for us.
