I don't know what Market Basket is like but it couldn't be any worse than those rat den Shaws.
I am a truck driver and deliver to 40 different grocery stores total throughout the week in Vermont and New York. I walk into a Hannaford and I'm greeted with open arms, the loveliest people and an extremely clean receiving area (and sales floor).
Obviously I can't judge every Shaws I've been too because they also have some nice people, but last week I walked in on an employee shooting up in one Shaws and a Gian rat running across the floor in another.
Anything is better than that.

Yeah, quite a bit has changed in the past couple of decades.
We still get a couple of good snowstorms but other than that, winters have been pretty mild for a while

Nah. This isn't some utopia where they can be reasoned with. The 30 percent or so of Vermonters who still vote for this shit, particularly after all the shit the conservative party did from 2020 until now (not even mentioning the horrid shit they did before that), are not intellectually capable of political discourse.
Any level minded conservative left that shit behind after 2020, if not before. My uncle, for example, who has voted Republican literary his whole life, bounced hard out of that shit after Trump was voted in and he hasn't looked back since.
They don't care about discourse. They only care about their team winning because Fox News told them too. They are racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic white supremacists who probably couldn't locate Vermont on a map.

As a rabid Patriots hater growing up, nothing made me happier than seeing Baby Bro Manning bury them twice.
And I'm a Cowboys fan.

Born and raised in Vermont. Haven't ever lived anywhere else.
Cowboys. Grew up in the 90s. Loved me some PRIME TIME and Emmitt Smith.
Troy Aikman is the most overrated QB I've ever seen and I will die on that hill.
Been a pretty good life as a Cowboys fan. Yeah, they haven't won shit in almost 30 years, but they have routinely been a decent to great team for most of my life. Ill take that over being the Lions or Browns anyday of the week.
We don't talk about the Dave Campo years.

And nothing with my post was wrong since I said for several decades. And Take Back Vermont has been a slogan for far more than a fight against gay rights for a long time. But go off, Trumpster

Vermont has been a democratic state for decades and decades, and no it wasn't "Farmer democrats." Most of the democrats that vote today are not "imported." They're educated, which is what you seem to have a problem with. These are mostly the same people who were born and raised in Vermont.
I laugh at all the beyond stupid "Take back Vermont!" idiocy I've seen in this state from the vocal minority in my entire life. With how long some of these people have had those stupid ass "Take Back Vermont" signs up, you'd think they'd get the common sense to move if they are so unhappy here. There's an idiot who has had one of those signs up for near 30 years and might be one of the biggest idiots I've ever met (and I don't call him stupid because of his politics, he genuinely must have a Forrest Gump level of IQ or less).

Bullshit. Born in VT in 1989 as well. Have lived here my whole life. While housing is out of control, the people are as great as they've ever been and it's still one of the best states to live in in the entire country.

Hitching up an oxen and using that would probably get the job done faster than some of the plows in Vermont, no lie.
