He refused to answer anything about his films and spent the whole time rambling on an on about the value of transcendental meditation. I can’t say I value his opinion

Shakespeare specifically wrote Richard III to suck up the Queen Elizabeth. Sort of the medieval version of product placement. I’m sure he still cared about his work.

Oh I don’t know about that. I just watched Addams family for Halloween. In one scene you sees a billboard for Tombstone pizza behind Lurch ( do they even make that anymore?). That didn’t take me out of the film. We pass billboards every day.

Ehh maybe if he spent less time worrying making up brand names and more time focusing on his writing, we wouldn’t end up with films like Death Proof.
