I do think people tend to think too broadly about evolutionary factors. It’s likely a very small amount of factors that drive the changes. Current humans definitely seem to be most susceptible to health issues so that’s probably a huge driver in general. It may not always seem that way but things are generally peaceful enough to procreate. Unfortunately being smart ceased to be a key factor a few society models ago also.

I think it’s hard to rule out that being a major factor that might be unrealistic for Humans situation but it is definitely interesting how Bonobos are an actual make love not war society.

There’s a big difference between whatever a lot and shuffle means vs most and unemployed means though. I do think people will need to be more open to mid career re-training than they have been traditionally.

It seems like this is your entire argument, honestly if you truly believe it will be even half as effective as you are suggesting having a job will be the least of your concerns and the only rational conclusion is your “tinfoil hat” stuff. Assuming you aren’t far gone enough to admit that is probably an irrational action at this point then all I’m suggesting is perhaps it’s best you reflect on why that is.
Also maybe try and get a little more sleep, having young kids can be rough in that area and a common side effect can be compromised mentalities.

Yeah. Am I reading this right that you are predicting something like a 15x permanent increase in unemployment in the next 15 years? Seems like a little bit of an overreaction to me lol. Covid was like a temporary 3x.

Either option is similar schedule length though. MLB refusal to shorten regular season or games is going to cost them more than it is saving them.

Not sure how I feel about this playoff format, 1 then 7 seems better than 3 then 5. 1 game take all is fun while 3 and 5 are still pretty random so it’s kind of unnecessarily drawn out. No slight to the Padres, just an observation from an increasingly casual fan.

The next line in Wikipedia is
Bonobos are far less violent than chimpanzees, though, as lethal aggression is essentially nonexistent among bonobos while being not infrequent among chimpanzees.
I did not examine any of the primary sources but a lot of these statements are a little vague and potentially open to misinterpretation since they likely have specific relevance only.
