Definitely a must! India Point Park.

Drive to East St to near the south end of it and park. Then walk across the pedestrian bridge (has a spectacular view of Providence Harbor) and walk to the right to the Community boathouse, and begin by reading the history plaque there.

Turn around to face east and walk the entire coast of the park reading the 10 or so historical plaques. It's the entire history of Providence, the first colonial settlement in RI.

When you reach the end at Brown Boathouse, circle back just a bit to Narragansett Brewery with outdoor tables, dogs allowed.

Then make your way a couple blocks inland to Ives St. Lots of tiny eateries and cafes there to choose from. From there you'll be a few blocks from your car.

Looks like Sunday will be the better day, weather-wise. Enjoy!

As someone who has lived in several different states and foreign countries, RI is the first one where I felt like "I need to get the hell out of here could make a home here."

And so I did. And 33+ years later, love it even more ❤️

There were two combatant narrators in Ken Burns' Civil War series, one from the South. One from the North. Every episode in the series had numerous readings from their diaries.

The one from the North was a Rhode Islander, buried in Swan Point, Elisha Hunt Rhodes.

Oh, and Cthulhu ... every day Etsy shoppers even in France search Etsy for Cthulhu stuff. I'm sure Lovecraft would be stunned.

Some landlords are renting to pit/pit mix owners because I see them, and they're new / newish to the neighborhood (Fox Point). Out of 12 buildings on my street, there are two or three pitties, all owned by renters.

That said, there's like 3% available housing in the state (up from 2%). While it is not legal for a city to have breed restrictions (Pawtucket tried years ago and it was overturned), insurers can in effect ban breeds from properties they insure.

So it is insurers, and it's also simply the fact that if there are 100 applicants for every apt, what landlord wouldn't choose the applicant with perfect credit and no pets?

tl;dr: not impossible but you'd need that one landlord you could sway with perfect credit, previous landlord testimonials, and an offer to pay a substantial pet fee

Witnesses also noted that the motorcycle had no lights and visibility of the motorcycle was poor."

Your best bet is naturalizing bulbs -- that is, they spread on their own. Lots of different ones do, but by no means all varieties. For instance, there are fantastic varieties of naturalizing daffodils that will give you a lifetime of daffodils, but plenty of daffodil varieties don't naturalize. Same with crocuses, scilla, periwinkle.
