They were doing the same to me, until my internet actually began to act up. Turns out an animal had partially chewed through the wire going to my house. Also they upgraded my speed but my modem was too old to handle it, so I got a new one during their visit to fix the wire.

The quality of the drivers however remains the same. Shoutout to the failed abortion attempt on Rt. 9 at UMass this morning who tried to turn left from the middle lane. I hope your day is as pleasant as you are.

A few months ago, I think. They used to be a floor kiosk, but they've since moved into the old Hollister space. I do like how a Japanese-themed space occupies a storefront modeled to look like a Southern California beachside bungalow.

I don’t think that Kelly’s is there anymore. There was one on Comm Ave in Allston that I used to frequent, but that’s long since gone too.

I don’t watch that show, but I recall seeing promos for an episode about a tornado. Did the producers just copy a random tornado warning alert and use it on the show? If so, that’s kind of hilarious until/unless the EAS went off.

Idk how it works in television but having worked in radio, I can tell you that these tones trip the EAS software/hardware to go into alert mode. Using this sound recklessly - like in a commercial - could trip the actual EAS to activate, though very likely without any messaging. You’d effectively be watching/hearing a blank alert. Moreover, “end tones” have to be played to allow the alert to conclude; without those tones, the alert stays active until someone manually ends it.

In short, don’t fucking play around with the EAS tones.

Imperial sold me a lemon, and every time I brought it in for service they managed to break 2 things for every 1 they tried to “fix.” The only upside was, I was still under warranty so I didn’t have to pay for anything. Bunch of clowns. I’ll never shop there again.
