I am gathering from your reply that you believe meaning to be an objective function related to economic utility. Is this true?

Just combine the two and you will get there. Meaningful Work. :)

I will keep doing what I already do. Study and create math. I am creative. Those people talking about playing videogames and watching porn all day have no idea how happiness works lol. They are dreaming up a recipe for depression.

Since the population is at an all time high if you look at the subset of all of human history divided into centuries then the 1923-2023 century is the most likely.

There is such thing as hippie CEOs. Not all heads of companies are greedy. The culture and values of the people working at a company shape that company's values.

I disagree with this theory. Microsoft has put so much money into OpenAI I struggle to see how they would need more money now.

I think you are missing their point. They are just saying that many cities are just structured so inefficiently that cars are required to live there. But this is not necessary.

History tells you that values change over time as scarcity decreases (technology also changes values regardless of scarcity). Human values are becoming more altruistic over time. Companies were more selfish 100 years ago than they are now because people were more selfish (due to scarcity).
Tech companies have some of the least selfish people working there compared to other industries. Don't get me wrong I am not saying that they are selfless (any complex system eventually develops defense mechanisms in order to survive i.e selfishness). I agree that change requires pressure. I am just pointing out that the pressure ALREADY exists.

This is a fear of mine. If all the smart jobs get replaced and all that is left is repetitive factory jobs then we end up in a dystopic non-automated future that is like idiocracy where no one is incentivized to educate themselves. But I have hope this will not happen and if we ever reached that point then it would only lost for a short period of time until the automation/robotics technology catches up. (Like 1 decade).

Two limiting factors atm would be
-
Continuity with the game world.
-
Voice Acting.
But #2 can be solved with AI generated voice lines. Although I'm sure how good that would sound even with recent advances in voice generation. #1 would probably be the harder issue since skyrim has hundreds of NPCs it would be a big project to make sure it was all high quality. I suppose a crowdsourced effort could get this done.

For now I would be satisfied if skyrim got an expansion that added a thousand unique lines of dialogue for every npc. Would be sick and add so much replayability! The world would feel much more alive.

Person of Interest. It starts out slow (in terms of AI) but picks up eventually in later seasons and is amazing! In short it is AI powered crime fighting.

They can but that is just a subjective perspective because "good" and "bad" are just egoic projections. From a third person point of view if you view human behavior as part of a system then you can see that people behave immorally due to fear and ignorance.
