The problem here is that every experience at RIC I have is pretty low stress compared to larger airports. I can usually get from parking to gates in 30 minutes. And we are starting to get more long direct routes like a direct Richmond to Denver flight that saves hours compared to a layover in DC or charlotte or just driving directly to DC and start from there.

The only think fluoride in water does is prevent cavities. Richmond city water does have a bit more iron and hardness than I like and as a result I don’t love the taste and how it leaves residue on the fixtures, but I grew up on county water which is still fluoridated and from the river, but seems to be processed more to reduce the iron content and hardness.

I seriously doubt this is the cause of her ailments. Maybe it’s a change in diet, has she taken any antibiotics that might upset her gut bacteria, something like that?

I get that. I used to have comcast and they would start you out on a lower than “standard” price and increase it as soon as the price guarantee ended, but would discount it again if you threatened to leave (provided you have options). At least if you get internet only, the price is the price and new customers and existing customers that aren’t locked into an older price will get the same price. The only thing verizon doesn’t do is put you on lower priced equivalent plans that weren’t available when you signed up.

Verizon seems to do it different on the Fios side anyways. As far as I can tell it’s $50/mo with the router provided for everyone to get the 300mb plan which is enough for anyone, even with my absurd usage. It used to be $40 if you used your own router but it seems the only option is to have the provided router (even if you don’t use it) probably to streamline customer service.

In a little bit it should be the case that the merge on 95 south is well marked, and then the boulevard exit will be a double and you only need to move over one lane to take the exit. Once they are done it will be fantastic for 64 drivers, though right now it’s incomplete and frustrating especially if you are taking 95 south to boulevard.

When I go for an inspection and it fails, I go pick it up with the list of things it failed for. Several things on your list are things it simply cannot fail for, so several of these are probably recommended maintenance items, which you can choose to ignore their recommendations. The inspection however is a specific list of things that must be inspected, the list is public and enshrined in law and you can check a lot of it yourself. Stuff like tire tread, lights, horn, parking brake you can check yourself. Beyond that it’s mostly brake pads having enough meat left, no significant play in suspension joints and bushings.

As an example, I am pretty certain a leaking shock does not fail, but a shock that has failed to the point of not properly damping bouncing can. Things to absolutely replace if a shop says so: ball joints. These may be part of a larger part like a control arm. When ball joints let go, bad things happen, where a shock fails slowly and not suddenly.
