Point was that the masters of a particular song will be the same regardless so the same file in FLAC vs say MP3 will have the same bad master. The FLAC will still sound the better of the two

If you did a blind test between oggs and a lossless file like a FLAC or ALAC people would be able to tell. Point is if you’re spending money on shit you don’t need like amps why would you not just get a better source when it’s readily available.

Lossless is better? That’s well established. But even then I’m not saying everyone should have a library of 24 bit FLAC files it’s just competing services have lossless audio if you want it as standard. Buying hugest end equipment and not using the service that has the better audio uplift just seems a bit dumb

Because you’re being dumb. If someone wants a GPU for example to play CSGO at 1080p on a 60Hz monitor and they’re asking what 4090 is best people are obviously going to tell them that it’s a massive waste of money. Aikido for 0.7seconds of latency is just dumb. Pretty much any decent Bluetooth headset is comfortably below that. My QC45s are under half a second but they’re shit for gaming

You want low latency headphones with good sound quality. Bluetooth means you cannot get low latency headphones. You need to be looking at wireless headsets that work via Wi-Fi if you want wireless and even then you’re getting poor quality audio and mic.

Not really? Bluetooth headphones aren’t meant for gaming and there’s reasons. You can get a 3m long wire if you really need it and any decent open backs will be better for gaming and any wired mic will beat a bluetooth solution. Like the old included EarPods apple used to ship with phones have better mice than any Bluetooth headphone I’ve heard.

Bluetooth is laggy no matter how hard you try, the mic will also be shit. The sound will also be shit compared to wired. A wired headset is better in every way and why do you need wireless to be sat in one spot?
