I thought Williams's score for The Eiger Sanction was dull throughout, the worst tracks being his semi-pop/jazz scoring.

"...how do you follow up a film like Chinatown?"
With another Exorcist or Halloween sequel/prequel.

Yeah, it certainly did not grip me and pull me in like Chinatown did.

Good point - I'd forgotten that uneven pacing...

Reply to The Exorcist is wrongly named by [deleted]
It's correctly named IF we understand that the exorcist who actually expels the demon is not the official exorcist, Merrin, but rather Karras, who expels the demon not by the Roman Ritual, but through his own courageous, altruistic, Christlike sacrifice for Regan. The Ritual frustrated the demon, but Karras was the one who took the demon out the window with him. Thus making Karras the Exorcist in the truest sense.

Reply to Any cool fights with an one armed fighter? by The_Hero-King_Cain
Savage bar fight scene in Lonely Are the Brave. One-armed Bill Raisch (Fugitive's one-armed man) authentically looks like he's gonna slaughter Kirk Douglas.
