Reply to Best comic book shops in Pittsburgh? by _SpicySauce_
I really like Arkham on Rt 8 in Allison Park. I don’t know a ton about comics and like to browse and pick up a few things every once in a while - I never feel intimidated when I go in. The owner (I think the only employee?) is always really nice and helpful. I highly recommend checking it out.

I saw it the week after it opened. I’ve warning everyone who asks - it’s very heavy. I feel like past Internationals have had more joy and whimsy to them - or at least a balance of serious topics and playfulness. But this one just brought me down. A lot of work about war, displacement, injustices, and oppression. I feel like I learned a lot from the show, but needed a breather and went and got a coffee at the cafe before continuing on.
I don’t think it was actually any smaller than years before - but it didn’t have any truly stand out pieces than past iterations of the show.

Reply to Tell me about Magisterial District Judge candidate Casey Mullen, please! by pedantic_comments
I don’t know much about Casey Mullen. But I also want to give a bump to Rachel Rosnick. I volunteered at a youth organization for years with Rachel and she is such an incredible advocate. I used to live in the district, but moved a few years ago so I can’t vote in this race - but I’m really rooting for her.
