This is not true. The Republicans are a minority government. Millions more people vote Democrat yet the Republicans have it set up that Democrat voters get less representation for all those extra votes. Read up on it.

By that thought process, why have indoor plumbing? Or seat belts in cars? Or sterile operating rooms in hospitals?

Why are they so short staffed? Budget cuts? No one wants to work there? It is inexcusable that this agency functions so horribly. Anytime you rank behind Southern states in anything, you should be embarrassed.

No, free market slobbering is trademark Republican economics.

Again, tell me how voting Republican has helped the people of PA? Didn’t we learn anything from Flint? End stage capitalism thinks markets always do better than government. Just stupid.

I don’t necessarily have a solution but same ole, same ole obviously doesn’t work. So someone trying something different certainly can’t hurt. But when it’s a broken society (lack of opportunity, wealth gap, etc) we need better leaders. Unfortunately, we have too many do nothing Republicans.

Absolutely. The Rs count on low turnout by Dems. We can’t let them have that. Good post.

The DA prosecuted crimes. Unless you believe putting everyone in jail is the answer to reducing crime, there is no way it’s his fault. Since the US incarcerates more people per population than any other country, I happen to think putting people in jail is not the answer. It is so much more complicated. Political, social and economic failures are more at fault but as lazy Americans we want an easy answer. So blame Krasner. I don’t and the people elected him twice! So the Rs can go pack sand. Grandstanding yet again

Just as stupid as their national counterparts. Didn’t you get the election memo you dolts? You are now in the minority and STILL you waste taxpayer time on this nonsense when we need infrastructure, heating assistance, food assistance for families, etc. and THIS is what you waste our taxes on? I can’t wait until we wise up and throw you out of the Senate majority as well!

But now legislation can be passed in the house and sent to the senate. If they ignore or vote it down, they will be exposed for what they are - do nothings.

Yes. And maybe we’ll get recreational weed now that Ds can get to work here in PA.

Nationally, Republicans take the House and one of the first things they say they will do is investigate Hunter Biden? No wonder they seem intent on losing. When will they do something for us?
Maybe we’ll see recreational marijuana in PA now!

As long as the R heading the committee continues to believe it is the gateway drug to harder stuff he’ll never release it for a vote. As I mentioned in another post, what do Rs do FOR you? Nothing apparently, and they want all the weed tax money to go to NJ and MD. They will dog whistle their base about high taxes while they throw that one money away. As for gateway drug, do they think beer leads to whiskey drinking? Crazy, yet economically stupid.

Yes. I’m late 60s too. So glad young people are connected and trying to make things better. Our generation seems intent on ruining America. Hard to believe the Peace, Love and Age of Aquarius generation could end up so far from its purported roots.

That’s pretty funny. Taxes on the rich can’t get any lower and mine aren’t bad considering all the services I get. Meanwhile, the GOP has done nothing for small businesses. They tend to ignore them. And the current GOP cannot even spell ‘law’ unless it means incarcerating people in for profit prisons. I personally have never benefitted from a GOP led government.

But their actions and inactions will be more exposed. It will be fun watching legislation be passed in the house and then shut down in the Senate. If it doesn’t change after that, we’ll, you can’t fix stupid.
