Dark isn’t really a click after one episode kind of show. It’s a slow burn, but develops into something that is much more than you would expect from the pilot. While 1899 shares some similarities in style, it’s a completely different show. It it’s also an incomplete show, so if it were me I’d always go for the show that I know has a beginning and an end.

The best thing I’ve done for myself is I’ve limited the amount of shows I’ve followed week-to-week and season-to-season. There are so many completed shows to explore that I’ll only give my attention to current one’s that I want to follow the hype on or I’m confident it will be completed. There’s a lot of crap out there and it needs to be filtered.
