The Park Heights label is likely just part of what is called a “basemap” layer, that the geospatial data is then displayed on top of.

No, but they do have free coffee. Zeke’s, IIRC.
Also, there are several options for snacks/lunch on that block if you need anything.

Seemed solid. I had no issues any of the times I went.

In the four years I’ve lived here, there has only been one outage long enough to justify a generator (a big storm last summer). Experiences probably vary neighborhood to neighborhood though

CoBalt on 36th street in Hampden. I think their day passes are $20. I’ve gone there whenever there have been power or cable outages in my neighborhood.
I’ve tried working at coffee shops and such, but I’ve found that my productivity takes a hit from the distractions. CoBalt is really quiet and chill. I always get a lot done when I work there.

Yeah, but treading water on the murder rate while the overall population total is dropping…not exactly what I’d call progress.

TBF, it's a hand dipped shake made from local craft ice cream. That isn't going to be cheap.

The whole gambling machismo culture just makes me queasy. I remember relatives losing houses to gambling addictions when I was a kid.
Kinda like drugs, I don’t think making it illegal is the answer. But I definitely feel like there should be more public messaging on the risks and harms associated.
And the free starter money they’re offering is WAY too similar to the crack dealer pitch, “First one’s free, but the second one’s gonna cost you!”

They can afford to pay out winners and pay for all this advertising.
I mean, everyone I know that gambles talks about how good they are at it and how much money they win, so where does this insane advertising budget come from?

I think it's great that they do it. I don't think it's great that they call it renewable and qualify them for the same tax credits that actual renewable energies get.

I hate to see waste energy classified as renewable, because it creates an economic pressure to maintain the status quo in regards to our attitudes about consumption and waste.

Mostly. It’s at the Rotunda so there’s plenty of outdoor seating available. Their food is really good, though… the wings and their topped fries.

I rarely see Local Fry mentioned in wing discussions. Are they not cared for or are they just relatively unknown?
I think their garlic lemon wings are insanely good.

The Station North Tool Library has one. You can check it out for a week if you get a membership…plus you’d have access to their other tools in the future should you have the need.
