Seems to be purely promotional because why the hell would it need it? On the toy itself, I mean.
Addendum: Why am I being downvoted over this? I would genuinely like to know. I'm the son of a blind father who has been blind all his life. I have worked with the visually impaired for several years. If you think there's something I don't understand the purpose of, tell me, enlighten me if you think I'm wrong.

It really looks like real people have been photoshopped into a virtual environment. I'm not saying the photo isn't real, but it's what it looks like. It's weird.

Painting them is only fair. I think it'd be uninclusive to make anything for the visually impaired have no colors. Even if you're blind, you want your stuff to look good.
Which of course makes me wonder why the hell they didn't paint it...
