If they really like whiskey, Jack Rose is a great place to do some whiskey flights. They have events, but not sure if they are planned out far enough in advance for you to get tickets to a specific event.

World Market, but sadly the closest is now in Rockville. If you are out there Mariuchi, 99 Ranch, and Ebisu Life Store for Kit Kats and other Japanese candies.

I went to Yuan Fu for the first time this weekend and was surprised by how much I liked it. The sesame "beef" was a fave.
The Peking "duck" came with spring onions, but they are on the side. (I suspect to keep some people happy.) But I think most everything else is fine. Always good to ask.

If you're ever up in Baltimore, the Thai chicken meatballs at Ekiben are pretty good. I think they are only available at the Fells Point location, and if you eat inside bring ear plugs, the music was SO LOUD I literally put earplugs in. https://www.ekibenbaltimore.com/menus/
