The dude started on the wrong trail without a paper map and compass, barely any actual food to cook with his portable stove, and two large knives. Killed a rattlesnake inside the trail cabin he slept in but didn't bother trying to cook and eat it. Then to top his streak of stupidity, he set a tree on fire then walked away hoping it would signal aid. Fuck him

Honestly I would be shocked if he doesn't try to postpone the election in some attempt to recover face before votes come in. Assuming he doesn't fuck with the election some other way

I loved swimming and diving in Kauai. The water can be rough but as long as you're an able swimmer its nothing too challenging. I would definitely research the beach or area you're planning on swimming at though

No he was out there for longer than a full day. He ended up having to sleep in a cabin on the trail. To be fair he did develop rhabdomyolysis which is extremely painful and makes walking almost impossible without searing pain. BUT he only developed this because he didn't bring nearly enough water and picked a trail he wasn't capable of doing
