I have the same, three years later I still get a ton of mail, presumably the business does everything online. Go on the Maryland corporation search, if you drill down you might find a different address listed for the principal contact / official notice and you can get in touch. I did this and they said they'd update their stuff, it slowed but didn'tstop. Now, I just write Return and stick it back out, it eventually disappears.

Yes and I don't know what line you ride. But the NV yesterday had two cut runs in the AM when I was trying to get to work. There is data on this by line- was posted here recently; and has had a marked upward over the last few years.

Edit- here, found the link to some of the data. If you have never been affected, you are extremely lucky! https://medium.com/@daniellesweeney/the-mta-cut-2-000-bus-runs-in-baltimore-in-the-six-months-85a693371f4b. Granted this is old; I've seen something more recent and it's gotten worse. Will try to find the more recent data.

And here's what I was looking for: https://www.reddit.com/r/baltimore/comments/yv19y2/aries_for_transit_is_tracking_how_well_the_buses/

Dig into their different data sets a bit and you'll understand that you are basically a unicorn if you've never experienced service issues on MTA buses in Baltimore.

Source: I've lived car-free in Baltimore for 12+ years now. I know transit.

Where are you downtown that there are bushes? Most people just throw their shit out on the street. While yes there's definitely a behavior problem, I also get peeved at the number of property owners that can't be bothered to go out and pick up the trash that blows/is thrown on their properties- is it fun picking up someone elses trash, no, but hey at least do your part. I've also organized neighborhood trash pickup events, and sometimes I'll take a trash bag on my walk and pick up until it's full (usually not too far!)

Reply to Breaking lease by Iroshima

Tell her to read the contract she signed. Before signing would have been better, but read it now. It will say what the penalty for breaking the lease is, usually a few months rent to offset the landlord's cost of turning it over. If she just stops paying and moves, the landlord can come after her for the remaining total cost of the lease she signed, likely through the courts if it comes down to that. Unless the "aren't what she was expecting" conditions are code violations or otherwise things that deprive her of use of her apartment she doesn't have much recourse if it's just buyer's remorse. But if it's negligence on the landlord's part- poor maintenance, etc- then document everything, the city has an escrow process for serious maintenance issues, you can find info online on this; or get a lawyer's advice on pursuing it through small claims court.

The cars are going to hit you in the day too unfortunately- I don't think it matters if it's light or dark when you drive around looking at your cell phone instead of the road. Key is be defensive and assume any car is going to kill you

Down to 60 or even 50 depending on wind, I just wear shorts and a long sleeve top. Below 55 to 50; I wear a neoprene ear band, light-midweight running pants (tapered pants, not tights), mesh underwear, silkweight thermal base top, midweight half-zip top, then an outer layer per weather conditions- wind/water resistant if needed. Once it's in the high 30's I add smartwool liner gloves, and a full lightweight beanie. That's my setup down to about 20 degrees; below 20 I add a balaclava. Below 15 I add silkweight leggings under my pants, heavier crew length socks, and warmer underwear. Below 10 I stop running because my feet start getting too cold (never happens in Baltimore). No magic time in the morning- cars are going to hit you in the middle of the day too- be defensive. I usually run at night, but sometimes early AM (6AM)
