I mean I wouldn't exactly consider Valley View to be a new angle. Regardless, this is still a wonderful shot with great weather conditions and decent post-processing.

I'm fortunate enough to have this place in my backyard. A two hour drive puts me in Yosemite Valley.

One thing not captured by photography is the loud rumbling and cracking of ice shearing off the cliffside...
Technical Details: Nikon D7200 with a Nikkor AF-S DX 18-300mm f/3.5-6.3G ED VR, shot @ 230mm, f/8, 1/8000, ISO 400, handheld. Single exposure, no bracketing or focus stacking. Color grading/white balance done in post using PS CS6.

Other than along the north-facing walls and along shaded river banks, the snow doesn't generally hang out for too long in the valley given it's not all that high in elevation.
