The crowd impact the game. Both for the players on the field and the referees making important calls.

Reply to LPT: In addition to wanting to hire a person who is qualified, hiring managers also want someone they can see themselves working closely with, so don’t forget to bring a good personality too. by NotWeirdThrowaway
While interpersonal skills are important, you’re likely underestimating how much of an impact things other than your “personality” had on those hiring decisions.
This is how unconscious bias is perpetuated into a hiring decision and how some companies (eg in tech) are so full of the same people (white dudes).
As a hiring manager myself, I have to be extremely mindful that “rapport” will be higher with people like me, because that’s how people are. But I don’t want to hire a bunch of nateorades. I want to hire a team with diverse experiences that will be effective at working together and getting the job done.

Beware that mortgage rates are now closer to 7% or higher, not 5%.
No, you aren’t missing anything. And that amount doesn’t include insurance or taxes (or utilities … or maintenance …).

When you earn more money, you owe more taxes.
You can easily withhold more at your current employer to make up the difference.
