Grew up and lived in Waterford. Moved away 23 years ago. Moving back in a year or 2. I miss the shoreline. The air is very refreshing. Even if you live several miles inland one can get a sea breeze.

the wife and I did a bus trip to NYC yesterday. Left from W. Hartford. We do it all the time. Gives us opportunity to visit relatives in Manhattan instead of doing the bus trip plan if we decide to deviate from it. Very cost effective.

I'm neither for nor against the helmet law but I think it is very wise to wear one. I have always worn a seatbelt even before it became mandatory. When I used to ride the helmet was always on my head. You don't have to be moving to smack your head. I'm embarrassed to say this but a helmet saved my head once. I came up to a traffic light and came to a stop but I couldn't get my foot out because a boot lace got entangled in the frame of my bike and down I went, very fast.. Smacked my head on the ground hard enough to see stars.

This doesn't apply if you're using TT online and this might not matter much because I haven't seen it myself but if you're using TT software, wait until April to send in. TT is always updating their software and there is no telling if they are updating to fix programming calculations.

We typically get a refund from the feds and have to pay CT but this year is unusual for us, we're getting a sizeable refund from CT along with a fed refund. Not sure why this year is different but I will wait until April to let things level off with TT software before sending in.

My wife won a big amount and reported it upon payout. Lottery Commission took out the withholding at her request. We had to report it on the annual income tax both state and fed. So whether you have withholding or not, you still have to report it because the Lottery Commission will file with IRS and CT DRS. At tax filing time you'll know whether you had enough withholding or not enough (pay or refund that is for that tax liability).

which seems to roughly coincide with the cops switching from using radar to laser for speed enforcement and the requirement of 2 plates instead of 1. Whether that's all related, I don't know.

you may not have hobbies or activities now but I bet you have something that you have always been curious about that could make a hobby or activity and I'm sure there are many here who would like to share that interest with you and vice versa. There's so much out there.
What interests you? What are you curious about?
