Boston advertises their police and fire stations as public bathrooms so you could use the fire station in the middle of the North End. There's a BPL branch as well.
Langone Park has one of those $0.25 quarter operated public bathrooms but most of those I've seen are dilapidated and in a state of disrepair.
If you're around the perimeter, of the North End, you can go to North Station (either the station or the Star Market though the station bathroom is nasty), the Boston Public Market near Haymarket, Faneuil Hall, Marriott Long Wharf (inside is much nicer than the outside bathroom).

The biggest offenders I see are usually cars with Uber or Lyft stickers in the windshield. I asked my driver once why he was driving through Boston city streets with his high beams on and his reply was "It's brighter."

The last few times I've taken the subway, the animals are definitely better behaved and less likely to attack me.

The commuter rail schedule can be affected by someone sneezing on some days.
Sarcasm aside, a lot of lines have been only running like one train an hour since Covid, and my line (Fitchburg line) often isn't even on time even during good weather.

Just the other day I watched a Nissan Rogue with an uncleared roof hit a massive pothole which knocked the ice forward and right onto the windshield blocking all of the driver's visibility.

The Fitchburg line right now too. Morning inbound trains are scheduled to arrive at 8:06 and 9:04 AM at North Station. This means there really is only one train the entire morning that gets you into the city in time for working hours.
Outbound trains depart North Station at 4:30 PM and 5:30 PM. Makes more sense if you work near North Station, but good luck making those departure times if you have a subway connection especially with the current reduced service and T shenanigans.
And I work in Watertown, so if the 70 is stuck in traffic and I miss the train at Waltham, I have to wait an hour in the cold.
The pre-covid schedule was a train approximately every half hour. Even if you missed a train, you wouldn't have to wait way too long. I've been driving in 99% of the time now and only taking the train when I'm way too tired or lazy to drive in rush hour traffic. I'd go back to taking the train immediately if they brought back one additional train during rush hour, or the express train.

They also know exactly what they are doing. Probably preying on college students that are broke and don't have the time, money, or legal knowledge to go after them via legal means.
And if they did try something themselves like withholding rent, there's a good chance they won't have followed all of the prerequisite steps and documentation necessary and will threaten eviction, which will essentially prevent them from renting another apartment in the future with that kind of mark on their record.

Friendly reminder that you shouldn't use a debit card for day to day transactions like this whenever possible, especially at frequently hit businesses like 7-Eleven and gas pumps.
Even though they are zero-liability and that you should receive a full refund once the fraud investigation completes, you are out of your own money from your personal checking account if your debit card info gets stolen.
On a credit card, it is still the bank's money at that point and the charge is suspended while it is investigated.

Make sure all your lights and safety equipment on the vehicle are functional, and don't forget your hand signals. I work next to the Watertown Mall and walk by all the time. The amount of people I see that can't use their car because of a tail light out or don't know their hand signals blows my mind. Fortunately, if you need a replacement, there is an AutoZone next door.

I would not ever assume that I am free to park in a city from a sign unless it explicitly says so. I interpret this as 15 minute parking only allowed between 8-6 for pick up and drop off.
If parking was allowed outside of 8-6, there would be another sign explaining the rules for that time period.
