Same story with 99% of Japanese studios and publisher. Japanese businesses in general only care about the Japanese audience. If they like or dislike something, that's all they care about regardless of if they have giant western audience.

Japanese gamers still aren't too hardcore on PC gaming. They're mostly console gamers. And if they play on PC, they'll probably go to a cafe. As long as they have a culture of thinking about their international markets as an after thought, we're always going to get dodgy PC ports from Japan. Look at Squaresoft ports, one of the few companies that actually does care about the west. The Nier Automata port is shit without mods and still kind of shit with mods...

They're getting better very very slowly, but I suspect it's only due to pressure from western publishers. That's just speculation though. But in most cases you have to be weary. Like...if the game is even a good port you have to get lucky and hope the controls are good.

I can't see myself enjoying this honestly.

I think im just at the point where need more than just combat out of a game. i want character creation, i want that character to live in the world, i want to do a ton of non-combat stuff. I still enjoy narrative stuff, but when I'm looking at these games, i can't justify spending so much money on them...

like looking at Skyrim and Oblivion and GTA etc, those games are worth their weight in gold. But then I look at other games and just think...why would I pay the same price for such games. I get less things to do, less content, bleh.

I'm sure this game is great for people who like this sort of thing, but when i see it, i just see "pay $70 to frustrate yourself"

yeah, idk what that guy is talking about The Walking Dead has been a shit show most of the time, but the actors are seriously top notch. Rick's accent is great. I've lived in the south most of my life. I don't people realize there's a ton of different types of southern accents. When I was a kid i even noticed this after meeting people from Charleston compared to people from a completely different city in that same state.

I've heard plenty of Ricks and Shane accents. I've even heard one of those crazy prim and proper early 1900's southern accents from this old guy in college. I half expected them to say "i do declare". It was so long ago that my memory wants to believe he did say it.

Dr. Phil is such a piece of shit. Watch that interview on Youtube. Orlando is clearly having an extreme episode and is incoherent. He says weird stuff like "well one baby is 2 years old, but we don't know the name yet because it's still in the womb" or something like that. He's clearly out of his mind.

He got better once he went to a different place, but now with this news, i guess he's back down again, but I haven't read any of the details.

I've been following him a few years. He used to go live when he was on a lot of hard drugs. And he'd go on rants that lasted for hours saying that he's Will Smith's son, Michael Jackson's son, and other stuff like that. He made other wild and horrible claims about other celebrities but I wont spread any rumors here, wont mention their names. but he accused some of the worst crimes imaginable, I'll say.

Even when he's "clean" and doing interviews, he seems off. Not sure if that's who is, the drugs did it to his mind, or he's just not actually clean. It's hard to say.

I just know he was going to be on the Raven's House show and even had talks for a Coach Eddie show, but his drug use got in the way I guess. As well as his rambles about the industry...

So now it seems like there's no hope of him getting back on the shows he used to be on, and are now being rebooted (like Proud Family and That's so Raven). While most of the blame is very much on him, it also seems to be his agent's fault too for some of his downward spiraling.

man. baby humans are probably the most helpless baby-anything on the planet, huh?

it seems like most baby animals are born with the needed instincts to just survive basic things like not setting itself on fire

I don't know if the best writers in the world can save The Walking Dead after the damage the former show runner did. And AMC's shitty budget and studio meddling.

But maybe. They did damage to the show that cannot be undone. I'm not even talking about season 7 stuff that people quit from. That was in the comics. I'm talking about the 100 times more worse thing they did in a later season.
